Episode 006 - Arsenal V Nottingham Forest Match Review

Arsenal’s latest clash delivered plenty of talking points. Eze and Mosquera both earned their first starts of the season, while Merino replaced Declan Rice who was left on the bench. That decision surprised many, but Merino quickly showed his quality with a commanding performance.

The match took a turn when Martin Ødegaard was forced off after another injury scare. This time it was a heavy fall on his right shoulder, leaving Arsenal supporters concerned about his ability to stay fit this season.

Zubimendi was the star of the day with two goals. His first came from a spectacular volley that lit up the game. He later sealed the result with a header, impressive given that he was one of the shortest players on the pitch. Eze also impressed with his creativity, setting up Gyökeres with a perfect pass for a simple finish.

Noni Madueke was another standout performer, driving Arsenal’s attack from the right side and looking like the best player on the pitch. His performance even sparked a light-hearted debate about whether he could push Bukayo Saka for a starting spot.

In this episode of the Shambles FC Podcast, I break down all the highs and lows from the match and look at what it means for Arsenal moving forward.
